JSC Syzran Oil Refinery is located in the Samara region and is a part of the Samara group of oil refineries.

The construction of the Syzran oil refinery began before the Great Patriotic War, and the first batch of oil products was produced in 1942. In the early 1970s, The capacities of the plant were expanded and modernized: the capacity for primary oil refining increased by 40%, the capacity for hydrotreatment and bitumen production increased by more than 70%.

The capacity of the refinery is 8.5 million tons (65.1 million barrels) of oil per year. The plant processes West Siberian oil, Orenburg oil, as well as oil produced by the Company in the Samara region (Samaraneftegaz). The plant's secondary processing facilities include catalytic reforming units, hydrotreating of fuels, light hydrocracking, catalytic and thermal cracking, isomerization, bitumen and gas fraction plants. The plant produces a wide range of petroleum products, including high-quality motor fuel, bitumen.

In 2015, the plant completely switched to the production of commercial products of the ecological standard Euro-5.

The construction of a catalytic cracking complex (FCC) is underway, the launch of which will allow the enterprise to increase the processing depth to 77.5%.
